This one-day workshop on the craft of acting, builds awareness of the powerful spiritual impact of live theater. The workshop examines the importance of the dramatic arts in the Church and provides individualized instruction in voice, movement, and character development. Open to ages 12 and older.

Although the key to a lector’s effective delivery is an awareness of God’s presence, it is very difficult to focus on the Word when in front of a congregation at Mass. Our Lector Workshop teaches readers to increase volume, use a microphone, pacing, punctuation, word emphasis and eye contact. With these skills lectors will overcome the distractions of public speaking, to enter fully into the Word of God. An insightful and inspiring workshop!
