The Movie Did You Know?
THÉRÈSE tells the story of an ordinary girl who has become the most popular saint of modern times, Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, also known as the "Little Flower."

Following the death of her mother when she was only four, Thérèse became an emotional and fragile child. But when she was 14 something miraculous happened - she experienced a mysterious Christmas Eve conversion that filled her with a love for God and a zeal to save souls. At the unheard-of young age of 15, she entered the Carmelite monastery. It was there that this pampered child discovered a "little way" to grow close to God, through the simple hidden sacrifices of everyday life, demonstrating anyone can become a saint, in any walk of life.

She died of tuberculosis at the young age of 24 after writing her autobiography, Story of a Soul, which served as the inspiration for this film.

Tune in for this inspiring message of hope - perfect in this season of Advent!
